The Masculinity Project: Remix: Price of a Ticket 10mins
Produced by Karen Thorsen. Remix produced & edited by Sabrina Gordon.
A chronicling of the life and perspective late great African American novelist, essayist and playwright James Baldwin exploring his views on America in his day, his relationship to a strict father, religion, even his evolution in accepting and making reasonable use of his talents. Baldwin’s reflections also highlight the classic father son relationship; how does a father guide a son without making rigid decisions for him? If youthful rebellion stem from fear of a predetermined life, how does a parent truly express to a child that the world can be full of many possibilities?
