Covid-19 Emergency Relief Resources
Got the Covid-19 Blues? You're Not Alone!
Investment in visionary content makers is a core part of Black Public Media’s mission. That’s why, during these unsettling times, we’re working with our partners to identify assistance programs that specifically target the creative community. If you need aid, consult the directory of emergency relief resources below.
Times are hard, but we’re in this together and once the crisis passes, as Sister Maya Angelou reminds us, we will rise again:
I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide …
... Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise
—From “Still I Rise,” by Maya Angelou
