We are developing an online version of our popular class about immersive cameras. BPM always wanted to figure out a way to bring our NYC seminar to other cities, and, now, we're going to bring the course to the entire world. Filmmaker Philip Sanchez has adapted his three-hour seminar into a 10-episode video course. The mission of Black Public Media's BPMplus program is to lower and eliminate barriers to entry for Black filmmakers, educators, and makers who want to learn about  extended reality (XR) technology and  create XR content. This free, online class delivers on that mission. Sanchez walks viewers through the pros and cons of four, 360 cameras: The Samsung 360, Insta360 One X, GoPro HERO4 Black, and the Kandao Obsidian R. The course features VR footage from each 360 camera, plus a suggested viewing list of 360 videos, so students may see the production quality of the cameras out in the field.
