Pitch Perfect at Miami Art Week

Are you developing an app? A film? An art project? A startup? Come practice your elevator pitch and receive expert feedback from Lisa Osborne, Black Public Media’s head of emerging media who preps all of their tech artists and filmmakers for BPM’s big pitch competition each year that offers $75K in grant funding. Artist and educator LaJune McMillian, who has taught at City College, NYU, and Princeton, is an expert presenter, having won $50K at the 2023 PitchBLACK Immersive Forum. They aced both the 4-min pitch video for their experimental documentary, The Unseen, about Black figure skaters in 1940s Harlem, and the Q&A with the judges afterward.
