BLACK PUBLIC MEDIA
WEEKLY DISPATCH
By Leslie Fields-Cruz
December 22, 2020
I’ve said this in a previous post, but it bears repeating: I am SO HAPPY to see 2020 draw to a close! It has been a trying and exhausting year, one I doubt anyone will miss. Surely, 2021 will come with its own set of challenges, but based on how well BPM performed amid the pandemic and all the hardships it created, I’m confident we can handle just about anything.
Our staff will take a much-deserved break between Dec. 24 and Jan. 3. So, this is the final ED Dispatch of the year. In January, the publication will re-emerge as a weekly blog, which you’ll be able to find on our website. We’ll share details about that after the break.
Meanwhile, as you head into the final week of the year, my colleagues and I send you greetings of peace and joy. During your down time, and we hope you plan to get some, we invite you to stream some of the content available on our website. We appreciate your unwavering support and look forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration in 2021 and beyond.
Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanzaa! Happy New Year! Happy Holidays!
