The Technically Brilliant Show profiles filmmakers, artists, and execs using virtual reality, augmented reality, and other technologies to tell Black stories. Moderated by BPMplus Director Lisa Osborne, the inaugural season of Technically Brilliant streamed live every Wednesday during the lunch hour (11:30 a.m. CT/12:30 p.m. ET), from May 12-July 7, 2021, on YouTube and Facebook Live.Technically Brilliant is a collaboration between the Denton Black Film Festival Institute and Black Public Media’s #BPMplus initiative. The goal of BPMplus is to increase Black participation in XR content production.
