Thank You, Donors!

Last week, BPM asked our supporters to include us in their Giving Tuesday plans. We are thrilled by the response and are deeply appreciative of those who gave. I hope those of you who took advantage of the exclusive streaming opportunity we offered to donors over the weekend enjoyed the film. And we thank the filmmakers for allowing us to share their work as a thank you gift.

We know we’re only one of many organizations people can choose to support on Giving Tuesday. And if you’re like me, deciding which of the causes you care about most on one day is tough. If we didn’t make the cut for you last week, we get it. Just know that we welcome gifts anytime of the year. 

Contributing to our 1.8M Donors campaign allows you to help us continue supporting independent media makers whose work centers Black stories. As 2025 draws to a close, we’re focusing on the offerings we have in store for 2026. If you’re one of our 1.8 million, you will continue to receive invitations to special opportunities. Please make sure to tell your friends and family to join us so they won’t miss out.

Meanwhile, be sure to check out our Watch edition of the Weekly Dispatch next week to see what we suggest you view over the winter break. BPM will close on Christmas Day and remain on break through the new year. We will reopen on Mon., Jan. 5.
