Talent Development

Black Public Media’s Talent Development Department aims to foster a thriving community by providing filmmakers access to information and resources that strengthen their careers. Our intent is to fortify and deepen the talent pool while also raising our visibility as a recognized leader in cultivating independent media talent.

Bootcamp

Formerly known as BPM’s 360 Incubator+, our Bootcamp brings makers together for an intensive, hands-on program that sharpens their craft and prepares their projects for the marketplace. Through workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and peer feedback, participants strengthen their storytelling, production and business skills while building lasting relationships with fellow creatives and industry professionals.
