2024 Johnny Carson Center Open Call

If you’re working on an emerging media project and would like to participate in our Black Public Media Residency at the Carson Center this summer, it is time to submit! Our open call for applications closes on Thursday, May 17.

For the third consecutive year, Black Public Media (BPM) and the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts are collaborating on this residency for filmmakers, creative technologists and artists who need access to emerging-tech equipment, studio time, workspace, or training.

The residency is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts.
