WEEKLY DISPATCH

Make a gift and help us help independent media makers

Today is #GIvingTuesday! Launched in 2012, the occasion invites hundreds of millions of people across the globe to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. This year’s event falls in the middle of Black Public Media’s year-end fundraising campaign. We hope you will include BPM among the organizations you support in your #GivingTuesday donations. To contribute, just click the button below and follow the instructions. Donations of all sizes and cadences (one-time, annual and monthly) are welcome. If today is not the right time for you, please feel free to contribute anytime between now and Dec. 31.

However you choose to participate, we hope you’ll share news of your giving on social media by using the #GivingTuesday hashtag. In doing so, you may inspire others in your network to become BPM supporters.

Help Independent Media Makers

Arts organizations and independent media makers are facing uncertain times. As a BPM family member we appreciate your steadfast loyalty to this organization and the independent media makers we serve. Together, we are working to make the media sector a more equitable and inclusive place. One where media makers of all backgrounds, sharing a wide array of stories, can  thrive — something that benefits us all.

Thank you!

BPM is supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting with further funding from the MacArthur Foundation and the New York State Council on the Arts. BPM is the only nonprofit that offers training, funding and distribution for projects solely about the Black experience. We welcome foundations, corporations and individuals to help with our work.
